Avalon Golf Course is the only course on the Northern Beaches to have 9 holes of Big Hole Golf. In one of the most beautiful areas of Sydney, AGC is open 7 days a week and requires no membership to play.
As you can see to the right, the hole is larger than a regular hole making the ball that little bit easier to sink when it comes time to putt.
It can also level the competition, allowing different generations or different skill levels to play a little more equally. Unfortunately it is harder to make excuses for a missed shot that “should have gone in”…
If you are trying to encourage your children to get into golf but the normal sized hole is killing their spirit, bring them down to Avalon and see how they go with big hole. There is also currently a mum’s special of golf, wine and pizza as well as the birthday special, where you can enjoy a free game during the month of your birthday!
Free wifi in the cafe can be accessed while enjoying the sun or sitting inside and having your cup of coffee. The barista will bring it to either table.
