Golf Tip: Chair Drill for Posture and Hip Rotation During Swing

2 months ago 0 Comment

Golf is based on the geometry of the circle and because every circle obviously has a centre, that centre has to stay reasonably quiet in the golf swing so you can consistently get the golf club head back to the ball.

“The Chair Drill” requires any regular chair or a similar object

Line-up with chair close the right hip (left hip for left handers). When swinging the golf club with correct posture and hip rotation, the chair should not move giving you instant feedback.

By rotating the hip back as shown in the video above you will avoid hitting the chair and should follow through nicely to connect with ball.
