The “hole-in-one” or an “ace” as it is otherwise known, is more than just the best option you can score when hitting the ball off the tee.
If you have achieved a hole-in-one, it is possibly the best feeling you can have on the golf course and a moment you will remember for the rest of your life.
While the chances of sinking one increase with your skill level, a hole-in-one often relies a lot on the circumstances and external forces at play when you take swing, full of faith.
Sometimes you really can’t tell if it was the golfer’s intention at all, or whether a gust of wind happened to grab it all of sudden and drop it perfectly on a slope with enough roll to make it across the green and into the hole.
If you sat Tiger Woods 200 yards from the hole and gave him 10 balls, how many do you think would finish in the hole? A lot less than would be sitting on the green, ready to putt on the second stroke.

You really can’t teach a golfer how to shot a hole-in-one, that’s why the PGA Tour have sponsors that offer a car to any pro that sinks one during tournament – not like any of them would be needing another car. But since an ace is something that comes with some luck involved, the more you play golf there more chance you have of sinking one.
